Timeless Craft: Vintage Dantsu Rug from Over 80 Years Ago
This hand-knotted Dantsu rug, now over 80 years old, still welcomes guests in our workshop’s reception room. Every ten years, it undergoes maintenance and cleaning, yet each time we touch or gaze upon it, it feels more beautiful than ever.
Gently aged with time, its soft sheen and graceful wear seem to quietly speak of the enduring relationship—and shared memory—between people and the objects they cherish.
工房応接間で今もお客様を迎える、80年以上前の手織緞通。10年に一度、メンテナンスとクリーニングを施していますが、いつ触れても、眺めても、今が一番美しいと感じます。
